The facade is made of perforated copper-brass coloured aluminum panels, which are coated with a dichroic finish and folded to create added texture.

The Challenge

Construction of the 25-metre Tree of Life required 250 tonnes of composite steel, as well as long cantilevers to create a sense of spaciousness. As the floor plan differs at every level, the structure had to be adjusted and catered to connect with every floor. This makes planning and construction of the Tree of Life especially challenging.
